Q3) Can Jesus gather His elect at any moment?
A) There is a Trojan horse deception being spread within the body of Christ the Holy Spirit wants to expose. Most Christians accept it without any question. Prophecy teachers Grant Jefferies, Hal Lindsey, Perry Stone, and John Hagee teach the rapture must come before the Beast wars against the saints. In an attempt to reach out to Catholics, an elated Dr. Jack Van Impe announces even Pope Benedict is preaching on how near the rapture of the church is. [28. Jack Van Impe-Signs Of Coming Wars Are Imminent 2, T. 5:05-6:50] Dr. Billy Graham is so convinced he has devoted the entire 2009 to teaching Jesus' coming has drawn near, at any moment.
"...'Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He,' and, 'The time has drawn near.' Therefore do not go after them.'" (Luke 21:8)
Jesus warns believers not to believe in them (go after them). Why? Our Lord lists the events of the first six seals (Rev. 6:1-17) that must take place before He can come back and gather His elect from the wrath to come. (Mat. 24:3-31, Mark 13:1-37, Luke 21:7-36) The Son of Man will not come back in the clouds, with a trumpet, with His angels, until these events transpire. These events have yet to come. Many ask how could such admired teachers be so wrong on the timing of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him? (Luke 21:20-36, Mat. 24:29-31) They are not only wrong; they're setting up the church for the greatest falling away in its history (2 Thes. 2:3-4). How so? Only the blood washed saints that get the victory over the Beast will be delivered from the wrath to come (1 Thes 1:10, Rev. 7:14; 15:2)!
