Q4) Why are so many ministers refusing to judge between the righteous and the wicked?
A) "Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the
wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him." (Mal. 3:18)
TV host Larry King is Jewish. In this interview he asks Joel Osteen if a Jew will go to heaven if they don't believe in Jesus. [60. Joel Osteen on the Gospel Cannot Make Up His Mind, T. 0:25-1:20] Joel replies only God can judge a person's heart. This is his excuse not to tell Larry King he will be lost for eternity if he rejects the gospel. When asked if atheists go to heaven Joel says he doesn't know. In front of millions of viewers, he refuses to stand for the gospel. It doesn't matter what a person believes; this revered pastor has no intention of making a righteous judgment.
"An astonishing and horrible thing has been committed... The prophets prophesy falsely... My people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end?" (Jer. 5:30-32)
You can be sure God will judge the hearts of those denying the doctrine of Christ so they may be highly esteemed among men. Tragically, the approval of man is like a drug many Christian leaders are craving.
"...You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God." (Luke 16:15)
The voice of the harlot is baiting apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, into supporting an interfaith movement promising unity for all people. May you never forget this admonition. Only those abiding in the doctrine of Christ will get the victory over the Beast and be gathered by the Son of Man!
