The Revelation of Jesus Christ was given to the apostle John on the Island of Patmos in A.D. 96. This revealing is about the second coming of Christ. The twenty-one events John saw in his vision are like pieces of a puzzle. Once you understand the events coming from the seven seals of the heavenly scroll (Rev. 6:1-17; 8:1), the events from the seven trumpets (Rev. 8:1-13; 9:21; 11:15), and the events from the seven bowls (Rev. 16:1-21), you will be able to see where each event of Christ's coming takes place (Rev. 7:9-14; 10:1-7; 19:11-21; 21:9-10). The timing of the Son of Man, the Messiah, the Word of God, and the Lamb of God can also be traced back to The Book of Daniel (Dan. 12:2; 9:24; 12:11; 12:12). In fact, the best way to understand the timing of all four events of Christ's second coming is by studying this prediction.
